Jorge Veitia Founder and Executive Director Sharing One Love Network

Sharing One Love Palm Beach County (SOLPBC) was a vision that developed out of Sharing One Love Network, a global on- line hub offering anti human trafficking organizations tools and resources to respond to human trafficking in their own communities. Founder Jorge Veitia launched Sharing One Love Network and the Life of Freedom Center in 2012 developing global technology tools for identification, rescue and restoration of those coming out of trafficking.  Concurrently Jorge worked in the local Maimi/Dade area building awareness and collaboration with law enforcement, government, faith based and private sector organizations. This local work was further augmented with the Alternative Break program offering  retreats and workshops to colleges on how to mobilize community to impact human trafficking. Jorge’s vision of sharing one love to end human trafficking will forever remain our inspiration.

In 2016 Rescue Upstream partnered with Sharing One Love Network and began internet outreach in Miami Dade working with Miami based partners to provide services to women looking to get of sex trafficking and prostitution.  In 2018 this work shifted to Palm Beach County requiring the development of a community network to address the varied needs of trafficking survivors.  This need resulted in the launch of SOLPBC which had its’ inaugural meeting the Fall of 2018 and was attended by five organizations looking to connect the dots, share resources, and assess gaps.

In 2021 the vision of  Sharing One Love PBC was formalized in a White Paper. It moves forward with a leadership team committed to collaboration first and foremost.  We meet quarterly and welcome any individual or organization interested in addressing the local issue of human trafficking.
